The Office

This hit comedy chronicles the foibles of disgruntled office workers–led by deluded boss Michael Scott–at the Dunder Mifflin paper company. This American remake of Ricky Gervais’s hit BBC sitcom helped make stars out of Steve Carell, John Krasinski, and more.

The Office is a multi-award-winning comedy series which presents a hilarious mockumentary sitcom depicting the humorous, and all too real, foolishness that plagues every day workers in the 9-to-5 world. The Office is a fly-on-the-wall docu-reality parody of modern American office life, delving into the lives of workers at Dunder Mifflin, a paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Like its British counterpart, the series was filmed in a single-camera setup without a studio audience or a laugh track in order to simulate the look of an actual documentary.

Editor’s Note:

The Office is one of our favorite shows and it never gets old. Somehow no matter how many times you've watched it, you always seem to catch something new. It's funny, cringe-worthy, but also comforting. Netflix will definitely be asking "are you still watching this?" after you fall asleep watching it for the 20th time.
