Better Than Us
Better Than Us takes place in a future where androids serve the population, even replacing humans in certain jobs. They raise children and work as chauffeurs and security guards. China’s one-child policy led to a critical shortage of women, so an engineer designs an advanced robot named “Arisa.” Arisa is programmed to act as both a wife and a mother and is not programmed with Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics.
Purchased by a powerful robotics company, Arisa ends up killing a man who tried to sexually assault her and then escapes. She encounters a little girl and an automatic bonding response takes place.
The series follows the family she creates, what she will do to protect them and herself, the actions of the anti-droid militant group, “the Liquidators,” as well as the many dark and disturbing secrets of the head of the robotics company.

”This is one of the best sci-fi, or maybe not so sci-fi, shows I've seen. There was a good mix of story, action, and thought-provoking content that it kept me entertained throughout the whole series. I hope they make another season in the future. It is dubbed, but because of the quality of the show, I didn't mind. Definitely something to have on your watch list!
